John Klose

As a communication major with an emphasis in multimedia production, John particularly appreciates being able to attend a Christian university. At a public university, he feels he would be fighting a much more liberal perspective especially in his field. He is grateful for the freedom FPU gives him to be himself.
“College is a transition time in life, and an education at FPU is extremely beneficial to students. This is a great place to learn, and students walk away with good experiences all around. Scholarships can be the key factor in enabling someone to have this experience. I know they made a huge difference in my life.
“I enjoy my classes and am learning a lot. My professors work to stimulate thought and interest in their subject area. Although the classes can be challenging and even difficult, I’m receiving hands-on, practical knowledge.
“I live with five other guys in one of the student houses on campus. It has been a great experience! We have fun just hanging out and doing random things. Like last night we made a late-night fast-food run or sometimes we ride bikes different places. It’s pretty tight.”
